Shri L.V. & K.V. Bhavsar Vidyamandir – A Legacy of Education Since 1952

Located in the heart of Detroj village, Sheth Shri L.V. & K.V. Bhavsar Vidyamandir stands as a beacon of value-based education, dedicated to shaping generations of students since 1952. Established under the visionary management of the Detroj Kelavani Uttejak Mandal, the school has consistently grown through the dedication of its trustees, the contribution of community leaders, and the blessings of educational reformers.

Historical Milestones

Foundation of Detroj Kelavani Uttejak Mandal to promote rural education.

Land allotted by Mahant Pujya Ramdas Bapu for the establishment of the school.

A new high school building was constructed thanks to the generous donation by Bhavsar Brothers - Sheth Shri Lallubhai Veljibhai Bhavsar and Sheth Shri Kalidasbhai Veljibhai Bhavsar.

School received 50% government salary grant and official recognition.

Commencement of Higher Secondary (Std. 11 & 12 - General Stream).

Inauguration of the Computer Education Department with support from donors.

Recognition by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB).

Declared as a Board Examination Center.

Addition of Smart Boards, CCTV cameras, RO Plant, upgraded science labs, and new sanitation blocks.

Three contributions to the development and establishment of the school are particularly memorable:

Philanthropists who funded the construction of the high school building in 1957. The school is named in their honor.

Played a pivotal role in school management and Kelavani Mandal activities during early years.

Offered generous donations and strategic support in expanding the academic infrastructure.
